A Freelance Side Hustle That Quickly Developed Into A Small Business Web Design & Branding Company

Founder of CKDSGNS, Small Business Web Developer, and Course Instructor Teaching People How To Face Their Fears, Be Their Own Boss, and Work From Home As A Freelance Developer.

While attending college as an engineering student and transferring to 3 different universities, I reached a point after 6 years where I just wasn't happy. I had so many interests that I wanted to explore and just never had the time or money to pursue them. Over time the desire to take the leap of faith became unbearable. So with no plan, no money, and no idea where to start, I took the dive.

My very first website was ProductiveShapeLife, a productivity website that I still own and run today. After successfully building my first website, I set out to find opportunities to build my portfolio.

So how did I get my first client?

I reached out to Cigars&Hookah in Warner Robins Georgia, and offered to build a website for their small business at no cost. This was a huge opportunity for me as a new developer, and later played a key role in helping me build my client base.

Not long after, I was hired to redesign the website for Edge Fitness, a local gym who wanted to provide a new modern design for their members across three locations. This experience gave me the opportunity to begin building my reputation as small business web developer and designer.

Today,  I Work Clients Across The US, Helping Small Businesses Discover, Create & Optimize Their Brand.
